Sweet Pond Eco Community is located on Sweet Pond Road in Guilford, Vermont. Guilford is 15 minutes from Brattleboro, a thriving cultural community and downtown. It is a 2 1/2 hour drive from Boston , 3 hours from New York , and a bit over an hour to Bradley International Airport in Hartford , CT. It is within a half hour of Northampton , Massachusetts famed for its rich cultural life and home to Smith College and other universities. This is one of the top arts and culture areas in the U.S. with world class classical music, Jazz, and all kinds of performance arts. The Amtrak Vermonter runs from Washington , DC and stops in Brattleboro.

We have a full service regional hospital ten minutes away, in Brattleboro and homeopaths, acupuncturists, naturopaths, and massage therapists of all stripes. The largest organic food co-op in the Northeast is a short trip downtown. It is the best of living in the country with the arts, culture, and creative economy of a big city. It is a warmly welcoming community to people of all lifestyles and it truly is a corner of paradise in all seasons.

The sports scene in Southern Vermont is phenomenal! Kayaking, biking, skiing from November to April at Mount Snow, Cross Country skiing, stables for horse back riding are near the property, or anyone of dozens of sports in the area. Also, there are six inexpensive clay courts within 10 miles of Sweet Pond.
